ABOUT OUR RIDING SCHOOL
Matador Farm is one of the largest riding schools and training facilities in the state, offering beginner riders the safety and comfort of a separate facility on property solely devoted to the Beginner Riding School while the novice and advanced lessons take place in a separate facility. Matador Farm is also one of the only schools in the state to offer a fully comprehensive riding school lesson program that incorporates tacking expectations with equitation skill work in the ring along with trail riding conditioning for all riders.
At Matador, we believe in true horsemanship and teaching sportsmanship that develops a balanced and well-rounded rider. No two riders are alike and our lesson program offers the versatility needed to meet all expectations, no matter how big or small. We take a highly personalized approach for each rider allowing them to work directly with their trainer to set their own individual goals and expectations that we work diligently on helping them achieve. At the core of all our lessons is a focus on equitation skills, proper form and technique, teamwork, setting goals and being resilient when faced with challenges.
